Help,
I have been looking for the past 6 months for a 25-40 HP 4WD drive Kubota/Deere w/ loader. If you know of anyone looking to sell a L series in good condition, please let me know. Also, if you have any recomendations on dealerships to work through, (or avoid) please let me know that as well. I have been to Chappell about a dozen times so far. Nothing that is a great fit in terms of both price and size.

I deal with Chappell. I drive by there every day. They have been there for over 50 years selling Ford/NH and were one of the earliest Kubota dealers in the USA. Great service, great parts dept, and competitive pricing for this area.

I too have been looking for a used Grand L. It's still a bit early in their lifespan to see any good ones in trade. I can recall only 1 used Grand L at Chappell in the last 18 months but it didn't suit my needs.

Mb Tractor and Hawkensen equipment are the other large dealers

They will only deal when thy have a reason. So Chappel is as good as any

Pinnacleview Equipment in Walpole is where I got my BX. They were a tiny bit better on price than Chappell's, but buying in late-May wasn't bargain time. Their used tractors are on their website atwww.pinnacleviewequipment.com/used_equip/index.asp, and I saw one L-series listed.

I'm in Southern NH and you don't see many used L-series. When they are available in good condition, the prices are not much better than new so I usually buy new.

If you're set on used, try subscribing to the state's farm paper (Weekly Market Bulletin):

They have a good listing of used equipment every week. Few L-series Kubotas, though.

Then there is the Want AD, but that is mostly Mass. There is Uncle Henry's, but that is mostly Maine. If you are willing to drive, you can find L-series tractors around through those publications.

For new, I go to Chappell. Their pricing has improved in recent years but their service department is why I continue to use them. They might even have some used L-series trade-ins on the lot.

I am selling my 2006 Deere 990 40HP 4x4 if interested give me a shout. Its in Uncle Henrys. Less than 10hrs. I am located in Chat-Ham.

Selling because I need an old case 580 or so. Lots of stumps to pull.
