NH TC 40D Loader

Has anyone tried any other aftermarket loaders on these machines?....A local dealer has a woods to fit my TC40 in NH blue.....Less money than the NH Dealer wants for the NH loader....Is it a good idea ??? Tractor is non supersteer.........TOM

Tom: Don't know all the differences,but do know that New Holland makes a good rugged loader and it is a good match for the tractor. Any reason other than price to look for the off brand? Might have better warr on the NH brand if you buy them together-Good luck either way

The 16LA on my 45D is tough. It'll be hard to beat.

I screwed up and ran out of money when I bought the TC40...I am sure I could have gotten a better deal if I had purchased the tractor & loader together....Best price I've been quoted on the 16LA loader by itself is $ 4300.00 less bucket but including the quick tach feature...The woods has a bucket [72"] but no quick attach feature. The price is $3700.00......I later saw a TC40 ad for $3000 more than I paid for the bare tractor which included the 16LA.....I'm bummed out..... but at the time I got the tractor I couldn't find any deals like that...........TOM

My dealer priced me 17LA complete for
$4500 anytime later.
I could have saved a little money ($2or $300)
at tractor purchase from combo incentives.
BTW I wouldn't own one w/o quick-tach.
This has as much lift cap. as some SSL
and their attachment prices are cheaper.

Hey Tom: dont feel too bad,you do what you can. I am sure when you bought the tractor you did what you could,it is still a great tractor and you will find a nice loader for it at a fair price- Enjoy !!think of all the folks who never get to even drive a nice TC !!!
