It's my understanding that NH filters are made by Fleetguard. The bus garage at an agancy I worked for used Fleetguard. The oil filters were ok, nothing special, not worth the dealers prices. If you do a cross-reference you'll find other brands; Mobil 1, STP (champion) , Delco , ect. My dealer wants over $60 for the hydro filters.

Just bought a new oil filter for my 33 a couople of days ago. It's smaller than the old one and it has a new part number. It's also made in The USA where the old one was made in Japan plus the old cost me $12 and the new one cost $10.
Check the prices on this site. Free shipping with 6 filters. I don't believe they carry the hydro but the others they do.

I know that car quest can cross the NH air filter numbers, and if you compair the car quest air filter to a NH air filter they are identical to the naked eye.. I also strangly noticed a wix number printed ont he car quest filter on the las one I looked at.
