NH TN75D

Saw a 2003 TN75D Cab/AC w/FEL for sale for $19,000 the other day. Tractor has 4900 hours on it, mainly cutting and stacking round bales. The hours seemed a little high for a tractor that age, but looking at the pricing on internet it seems like a steal. Anything I should keep and eye out for with that many hours? The tractor looks spotless inside and out, I would like to think that someone who keeps their equipment that clean takes care of the mechanicals too.

Any input would be greatly appreciated.

I'm also shopping for a TN75 w/ cab. The price seems great. My only concern that I've seen from the pictures on the internet for this model is it appears the cab liners in the ceiling seem to have stains. Does NH have a problem with leaking cabs? I don't know so I'm interested in your thoughts. Let me know how your purchase progresses. I'm in SW missouri so not far from you.

Some TN75's seem to be overly cheap s/h, upon close inpection the two I have inspected have both had weeping heads......maybe a maybe operator error by ignoring overheating or a problem in this series ?
Also have a neighbour who has experinced ongoing electical concerns- code errors, sensors failing, & incorrect warning "chimes"....from the looks of it the wiring is exposed underneath the tractor to be easy damaged.

I have removed my roof and replaced the gaskets. I used pickup/Ute bed to camper type weather stripping with some success (not perfect). My headliner has some staining, though it may have been an issue with it having came from the humid South. I found the headliner was sagging in the front, so cut a piece of scrap trim wood (moulding) down and put two screws through to the cab top. The plastic trim locking pieces use a straight through pin to hold them in, so keep this in mind when you push it through remove the lock. You can find suitable replacements at a car parts retailer (NAPA, Autozone, etc). Nothing difficult in removing the headliner, and the roof is held on pretty obviously. #2 Philips screwdriver is almost the only tool you will need.

The filter housing hinge pins are not real durable, but easy to replace with a pin (I can't recall what I used -- a long bolt/screw or a piece of drill rod, etc).
