The NH TN series is quite popular on this website. All owner's opinions of TN series especially with cabs are appreciated. Pictures of Tn's in work, etc., would also be great. Many people including me would like to see how capable and what some of the things you can do with a TN.

I've got a TN70S with cab and backhoe, and it's been great. It's not quite a Case 580, but for a homeowner type like me, it's perfect. The cab was something that I was totally against when I was originally looking around, but I found this one at a good price and couldn't pass it up. Since then, the cab is something that I've grown so addicted to that I wouldn't buy another one without it.

The TN is a great little tractor and can do a lot of work. I have a FWA TN 65 open station and use it to pull a 3-14 plow, 12' disc, 9' Gehl Discbine and a NH 575 baler. These implements make the tractor work but it handles them fine. In real rough spots I have to drop a gear but it isn't a problem. I have also ran a TN 75 2wd cabbed tractor and it handles the discbine just fine also. The 2wd is a nicer haying tractor as you can turn sharper and see better. Here are a few pics.

Robert,
Interesting to see pics of haying, and disking with 65. Just purchased one, and wasn’t sure it was quiet up to those tasks. Glad to know that someone else is using as I intend to.
My set up is a 2wd, open station, with loader. Have had mine about 1month, and so far very pleased. Haven’t had much seat time as weather hear is not ready for outdoor work yet. Looking forward to plowing 7ac bottom ground as soon as dry enough. Will try both 2 14’s, and 3 14’s to see how it feels.
Seems like a great little tractor. Have seen a lot of favorable reviews on the TN series on this board, and was one factor in my purchase. IMO the TN series is just a little heaver built than the boomers, and I needed just a little more tractor. I am looking forward to years of service from this baby, and hope it performs as well as my last 57’ Ford 600.

The TN is built a lot heavier then the Boomers and it will take a lot of abuse. I have used mine in a factory to remove a concrete floor, out in an old grape vineyard to move the remants of the burn piles from the vineyard over to the brush (lots of wires and post mixed with dirt) and have cleared a lot of brush with it. It has had the tar beat out of it from just using the loader and she still is eager for more. So when I hook it to the plow or other implement, I look at it as I am giving her a break from the hard work /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Now my 1920 (which is still a better tractor then the boomers) would balk at the loader work I put the TN thru. They are two entirely different beasts. For what you want to do I have no doubt you will be happy with your TN.

I've had a TN75 2WD with cab for about one year now and I have really enjoyed it. I added a BushHog Loader and use it for cutting hay with a disc mower, baling with a round baler, disking, moving dirt, loading hay, running a 3 pt backhoe, and misc. jobs. It is the first cab I have owned and it really makes hay work enjoyable in the summer and I even look for jobs to do with it on the cold days since it is so nice to work in the warm cab. The lighting is great and has allowed me to cut hay well after dark. I will attempt to attach a picture to this message.

I bought a new TN75 4x4 & FEL in November. It's been a great machine so far. (only 65 hours so far). I've been using it to feed 5x5 round bales to my cows and to move snow. My terrain is pretty rough and I've had no problems getting around. The tractor seems to be able to go anywhere and is stable on the hills. I did get a canopy (couldn't afford the cab) and it makes a big difference especially in the rain.
