Hello;
I'm turning to the community after my dealer (over the phone - 50 miles away) said "wow, really?"

I have a new holland TZ25DA sub compact for several years. Recently, I noticed that the "beep"** would intermittently start/stop as I operated it, loader, mower, etc. The other day I walked by the shed and hear a faint "beep, beep" then nothing, time passed, then "beep beep".

I checked and the key is not in the ignition. I put it in, wiggled it a bit, didn't help.

It's almost comical to be outside in the evening and hear a few beeps out of nowhere, except I am sure the battery only has so many beeps in it :)

** beep = when you have the motor running and get off the tractor, or when you have the parking brake on in gear.

I have noticed that the switch on the seat is worn, the roller is worn flat. The dealer said getting at the beeper (to disconnect) involves disassembling the cowl.

Any thoughts?

Jim

225 views with no replies..I would think this is something simple, I guess not. Upon further investigation, it seems to be related to the parking brake. If it's beeping (again no key) and I move the brake, the beeping stops. But then, later in the day, I'll hear the beeping shed.

If my dealer says "really?" who to turn to next?

Jim

ok, 297 views and no thoughts. Guess I am on my own. I'll have to take it apart with the mission of removing the beeper. Thanks at least to those that gave it a thought.

Just because 297 people viewed it, doesn't mean they have any pertinent knowledge. My TC29 has no such beeper, but I am still interested in following the thread if anyone had info. Did you look in the parts blow-ups or the schematic?

My boomer 30 beeps if I get off the seat without the parking brake on, ignition off. If the beeping changes by touching the parking brake, I'd suggest cleaning the parking brake sensor that you already identified.....

My TZ25DA will beep if the Parking Brake is not engaged and it you move it with said parking brake engaged. I agree this is tied to the Parking brake and possibly the seat sensor.

Sorry I can't help, just an interested viewer. My TZ18 doesn't beep that I know of.

I had a similar problem with random "beeping" coming from my TZ-25DA. I pretty much ignored it since I figured it would be a PITA to disconnect the speaker - but now it has segued into a more pressing issue.
Now, there is a "clicking" sound coming from the tractor; this happens when the ignition is OFF - and the tractor is sitting in the garage. Visual & aural inspection revealed that the clicking was coming from the Fuel Shutoff Solenoid

(SBA185206085).
Subsequent troubleshooting revealed random, intermittent voltages being sent to the solenoid: 10v, 8v 6v, 11v & on and on.
A google search revealed little, except a Kubota M6800 owner that had a similar problem caused by an arcing ignition switch. So - instead of manually disconnecting EVERY single safety switch - I decided to inspect the ignition switch. After removing the hood, steering wheel & moving the console/cowling backwards: I found the ignition switch/connector to NOT be the source of the random solenoid triggering. Clean as a whistle, so to speak.
Since I had already removed/inspected/cleaned/lubricated the "Safety Controller" (SBA385871291), I used the factory schematics to help provide a clue.
The Fuel Shutoff Solenoid is directly connected to the Safety Controller via a Red/Black wire; this leads me to believe the Safety Controller may be defective. It should output 12VDC to energize the FS SOlenoid & allow fuel to flow; then 0VDC when the engine is shut off.
I will order a new Safety Controller next week & update this post.
AND - I may have to order a new FS Solenoid after all of this; when my daughter was done mowing the engine would NOT shut off. I had to turn OFF the fuel on the secondary fuel filter shutoff.

Had a NH 1510 with the dreaded beeper. Disconnected that d*** thing as soon as I could. It was behind a panel under the instrument panel. Yours is likely in the same location. Can't give any detailed instructions on your particular machine, but I disconnected mine and SURVIVED!!!

Reviving an old thread here.. I have the same problem on my Tz25DA. Intermittent beeping. I've resorted to pulling battery cable off every time I stop. That gets rather annoying, trust me. Wondering if anyone had found a solution to this.. TIA
