To the best of my knowledge Weather Underground is free.
It always has for me.To the best of my knowledge Weather Underground is free.
Still is, but it’s horrible compared to how it used to be.To the best of my knowledge Weather Underground is free.
Glad you enjoyed your skiing, I don't ski have never wanted to. May have been too much working in cold and snow as a youngster, I did/do enjoy snowmobiling.Skiing yesterday was sublime. A bit over 8 inches of fresh white fluff will do that.
It took half again as long to drive home in the falling snow. My wife was out shoveling when I pulled in.
Put my coveralls on right away and headed out. The little Kubota B7200 lit right off and I blew a few 50 foot swaths away from the tractor shed. Then I turned up the drive and BINGO, the auger shear bolt went into failure mode. Dang ROCKS! It must have taken me 1/2 hout to get the location of the shear bolt center section lined up to drive out. I thought I had it a couple of times, but I've learned that it doesn't pay to hammer in the middle of a round shaft ;-)
Got the drive cleared in time to have a very pleasant subber at 8:30. I fell asleep about two seconds before my head hit the pillow.
Today, by mid day, the skiing absolutly SUCKED. The fresh snow pushed to piles with yards if hard ice between. The full moon was out as we all came down for final sweep of the mountain. ;-)
Going to do it again tommorow, wish it would snow again.
Shhh... Don't say anything out loud. This kind of behavior in a wife should be encouraged and mentored. In years past, I've used tractor and bucket to clear paths to woodshed in case we needed more wood. PIA to do it every snowstorm, so I rarely did. Paid the price twice by getting stuck. 13" ground clearance isn't much...
UTV and plow make it easier, faster and more enjoyable. And my wife bought so she could plow in case something happened to me. So far, she "plowed" two strips down level driveway and thinks she knows how to plow.
Thanks.Glad you enjoyed your skiing, I don't ski have never wanted to. May have been too much working in cold and snow as a youngster, I did/do enjoy snowmobiling.
