no 3pt operation

have 4400 w/3rd,4th&5th remotes &BH. When I remove or try to remove BH there is no 3pt operation. It is just like it is dead headed. any suggestions. checked couplers,seem ok. Has filter in line that was installed by Deere.

You need to unplug the hydraulics to the BH & jumper them back together at the tractor for the 3PH to operate (at least that's what I have to do on my 4400).

The pressure line that supplies the bh needs to be attached back to the sump return after the bh hydraulic lines are removed. Then the 3pt function will be normal.

found problem. took bh off with outriggers. had reconnected lines for 3pt. originally to remove bh but as mentioned it was dead heading or agenst the relief. the feedback rod was hitting a fitting on the 4th & 5th control valve not allowing it to raise any more. this had happened once when first recieved but I thought a coupler was not seated, and reconnected them and all worked. I could see where the dealer had ground the linkage on the feedback rod but was just a tad short.
