No float available for B&S Vanguard 6.5

I have a Briggs &Stratton Vanguard 6.5HP engine that the plastic carb float lost a sliver of material容nough that the needle valve falls through it. I致e talked with Briggs as well as countless others (even used) and always the same answer 登ut of stock and no idea when it would come available again? Nor can they tell me any other one that might work...
I may try and see if I can possibly weld some material in the missing area, but it痴 so small I figure it値l be too rough for the needle to work properly.
Anyone else had this issue or maybe recommend another float that just might work?

It looks like they are on backorder. ETA for 1 was listed at 11/25 AT PD so hopefully your dealer can get one soon. 798521 is the kit w/ the float it appears. That looks to be available. Welcome to TBN.
