After changing the drive belt on the LTR 180, no wonder those center chute rear-baggers were discontinued. What a chore. (Edit: apparently not discontinued as the design lives on in the X350R).
To make matters more frustrating, after patting myself on the back for a job well done on the belt, I have no forward or reverse. Blade spins beautifully, but there is zero indication of anything happening when pressing fwd/rev pedals. It is not the free-wheel lever. I checked that first. I can hear hydraulic fluid pumping normally with the motor off while pressing pedals. I'm 99% sure I have the belt routed correctly through the gauntlet of stupid pulleys at the rear of the mower. I'll take off the deck and the chute this afternoon and put it up on blocks to verify the drive belt is moving, and then go from there.
Any other ideas from the brain trust?
