No money down to get you into a new Branson.
I can't believe that a company like Branson is offering this.
That just goes to show you that they are serious about their products.
I am very surprised /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif

Looks like a super way to start off the new year, 2005 was great and with programs like this 06 should be even better.
Happy New Year Jason

I just got that package as well, nice incentives to keep inventory moving during the winter.

It is a little bit confusing (for THIS potential buyer).
Branson's site still says 0% for 3 years. So is this 0 down AND 0% for 36 mo ?

TYM's site seems to list all my Branson dealers (within a couple of hundred miles) as TYM dealers.
Is American Jawa "Switching" them ?
Is this part of the reason for the super financing deals, e.g. to move out all the old Kukje product ?
I'll speculate privately/quietly on what this might mean if I buy "one of the last" of something imported from Korea.

Puzzled in Massachusetts (-:

Branson and American Jawa have nothing in common besides them importing the same tractor from Kukje. There approaches and programs have nothing to do with the two seperate distribution companies. American Jawa is requiring dealers to sighn up for dealerships of TYM,There is no switching over the dealers per say.

I hope this helps clear things up, The current Branson finance program is 0 down and you can pick from 0 % for 36 up to 5.99% for 72 month, the rates change a little depending on the model. As I understand Century dealers will no longer exist but some may choose to be a Branson dealer as long as there is no existing dealer near by. Also Branson and Kukje do not rebag tractors, I'm starting to wonder how many distribitors are going to sell the TYM , Mahinda..Montana...American Jawa...etc...

enter zip code, etc.

I think I got (understandably) confused.
I think it is about like this:
American Jawa imports Kukje and labels them "Century".
Branson imports Kukje and labels them "Branson".
Some dealers have been handling both.
American Jawa is starting to import TYM.
AmJawa appears to be using (or at least starting to use) it's existing network of Century dealers for the distribution of TYM tractors.
If there is any "Switching over" it is most likely to be from being a dealer of Century (from AmJawa) to being a dealer of TYM(from AmJawa).
SOME dealers MIGHT carry TYM and Branson in the future, particularly if they now carry Century and Branson.

Am I close ?

or getting close ?

Gets pretty confusing when your dealing with a "middle man"...be interesting to see how things play out. I know from my perspective it seems as though TYM is really going to try to make a push this year to get into the market and grow their dealer base. Which should be interesting considering they now build tractors for Mahindra & Montana. There is obviously going to be some overlap there and not all dealers will be happy because of it.

Yes, LG builds tractors for FarmTrac & Montana but they (LG) are not establishing their own dealer base in which to sell "LG" tractors from...will be interesting to say the least. I just hope that no matter what happens there are not a lot of customers and/or dealers left high and dry.

I would just like to clarify some of what you are saying.

Under an agreement between Kukje and American Jawa Century dealers can continue as Century dealers if they wish they will buy their Centurys from Kukje's Branson distributor. Tractors will still say Century. (Kind of like Ago/Massey/Challenger) Century dealers will continue to be able to buy the C-50 loaders that their customers have come to demand from American Jawa. In regard to parts and warranties no dealers or Customers will be left out in the cold as long as Kukje and Branson do what they have promised to do. There is no reason to be concerned or believe otherwise. It would not be in Kukje/Branson’s best interest to do anything but go out of there way to help make the transition go smoothly and give the customers/dealers the respect they deserve. .

There will be two separate and non overlapping distributors of TYM, (Although they will be constantly communicating to improve the TYM experience to the dealer and customers), TYM-America and TYM-USA. TYM-America will cover all but the west coast and the mountain states. Dealer’s will buy from their designated distributor.

Scorpion will not longer exist as Scorpion but many of the Scorpion dealers are in the process of signing up to be TYM dealers. Yes for the foreseeable future Mahindra and Montana will sell certain badged models that are not the exact same spec tractor as the TYM brand.

In the coming months the tractors distributed by TYM-America will become all Red instead of Burgundy. Color will be the only difference between TYM-American and TYM-USA tractors.

The TYM tractor under its own label is here to stay. Like many other products badged tractors have a limited lifespan before the original manufacturer takes over or wants their name as the only name on the grill. That does not mean you should not buy a badged tractor, if you are happy with the dealer and feel you will get the service you deserve that is what is important. I believe any of the Tier one or two tractor companies will make sure if and when they ever make a change you will not be left out in the cold...

Happy Tractoring
