Howdy,

I have a CT230. I went to my dealer in Kansas City area to purchase filters the other day. Lo and behold I was informed that the KC dealers will no longer be ordering and having tractor parts. They will only handle other Bobcat equipment. I am not sure whether this is a KC only issue or from Bobcat HQ. Anyone know? I purchased all filters except oil, which was not available. I am now using a NAPA oil filter. The closest "service" for Bobcat is now in Salina, KS which is about 100 miles west for me. Is this happening anywhere else?

This was a decision by KC Bobcat. There is a new tractor dealer in Lenexa - Kansas Golf & Turf. Use dealer locator in Bobcat.com to get address and phone #.

Thanks Dennis,
I have found them via Bobcat.com and they have a web site. Their web site has absolutely nothing about Bobcat tractors, but I assume that this is all new and they have yet to update the web. Thanks for the heads up.

I was in the Fort Wayne Bobcat dealership talking to the owner, and he seemed very positive regarding the Bobcat tractor line, stated he was going gangbusters with tractors.
Cant imagine why a dealership would want to give up the tractor potential

I was told this back last year. It's strange because their website still lists them as a Compact tractor dealer.

Early Tractor in Cameron, MO is a bobcat dealer and can get parts and provide service. Last year I had to order a new battery cable and went to KC Bobcat and they told me to contact that KC Golf and Turf, but then I remember that I had seen a Bobcat out front of Early Tractor. So I checked w. them. They ordered it for me, no problem.

KC Bobcat told me that it was because they were more equipped to deal w. businesses, instead of individuals which was more in line w. the owners of the CT Line.

Money is money, but now-a-days people don't want to work for it. They want easy and fast money.

I've been trying since October last year to get a carpet installer and an electrician in here.

Was willing to pay top dollar.

Only one carpet guy came to quote. He said in one breath that it was a small job but lots of work to carpet the stairs. What is it? Lots of work or a small job??? He never called back with a price.

Electrician came out in October to quote to change over to bigger (physical) service panel. Gave me a price and I said, "OK, Do it!". Still hasn't shown up.

Nobody wants to work! So I had to do it all. I put in a sub panel in and did the carpet install myself. My first time carpeting and it took me 12 hours including removal of old, install and clean up. And I was going to do all removal for the carpet guy anyways.

Sorry for hijacking your post. Hope you get it sorted out.

When I bought at KCBobcat they said I could get my parts/supplies from White start in Topeka (3 miles from work)--now neither of them sell. White star is willing to order the fluids if I wait and order a full case (2 bottles). They claim to not be able to get parts. I am out of warranty so will just call Wallace when it is time for more supplies.

Love the tractor but frustrated with the company.
