No need for an aerator when you have these ;)

Sounds like a new age multitasking exercise routine! High stepping the pounds off while you rejuvenate your lawn. Anybody want to drop 5 pounds? I have 3 acres that need a workout....

:)
That's kind of what I thought... that would take a serious amount of time and commitment to a good looking yard.

What about when you stumble and step on one foot with the other? Aerated toes?

Mowing 3 acres with a 20" push mower so I can aerate lawn.
Not going to happen.
When I have a tractor driven 72" mower and 60" aerator in the barn.

I like to excercise... but I'd take your 60" aerator ANY day of the week...

I'd been talking about aerating my 1/2" acre yard. My neighbor was at a yard sale and spied a set of these.

Speaking from experience, they are tough to walk around in and dangerous to your legs and feet. Having to raise your foot up that far to get them clear of the ground (it's not that far, but it's much different than normal walking) leads to disaster. I fell once when a shoe lace got connected to one of the spikes and it didn't turn loose.

I'll probably put them on one more time - with my farm boots - but they are not for the faint of heart and they don't core the soil so it's not that great of an aeration job.
