While the tractors we are getting from DF now have a separate steering pump, some do/did have the single pump. If so there is a priorty valve responsible to make sure there is enough pressure to keep the steering working regardless of other hydraulic demands on the system. We have these in stock if you decide that is what is wrong. With the tractor off, will the steering wheel affect the front wheels? If not, take one of the lines off, with the engine off, turning the steering wheel in one direction or the other should pump oil out of the line. If not I would suggest the "steering motor", that is the valve that controls the flow of oil from the pump to the steering cylinder. have that too. let me know if we can help. we have a large number of DF parts in stock, mostly for our current models but we have been adding older parts as we see the need.
