no power steering on a 2010 john deere 1961 tractor

Got the 2010 that had no hyd. and no power steering. Replaced the hyd. pump. Got hyd.back but no power steering. Removed steering pressure line no flow off pump. It is like divider valve in pump is blocking off steering line. Is there another valve in trans. How do I test it. There is no spring in valve to center it(think it is done by pressure). Any suggestions on how and what to test and where are the test ports are.

Go to jdparts.com and look at the difference between the hyd. pump for the one with no power steering and with power steering. The one with shows a flow control valve which may be where your problem is coming from. And maybe not, you will have to decide.
A visit with your Deere dealer to go over the different lines and pump ports may help you a lot.
Also, others may be able to help directly with more knowledge from actual experience.

Thanks for the advice, have the pump with the flow divider in it. Was able to find test port on trans. to check pump performance, had no pressure which says(in manual) flow control valve stuck closed. Hyd. works good no power steering. will remove valve, inspect, hopefully repair and get to you with results.

i have same problem with 2010 no steering ' good 3pt and remotes took pump out to look at flow devider valve and it moves freely but i had no oil out of pump to steering

At first I had no hydraulics but had power steering. Removed pump found pump no good, Got newer used pump and installed. Got hydraulics back but no power steering removed pump found they sent me a pump with no power steering. Drilled port to main flow/hydraulics cleaned up and installed[ had no oil out of pump to steering].Got all functions back. Runs like a deer again. Thanks for your help.
