construction king 580c loader backhoe 35BK-H
I own a Construction King 580c Loader Backhoe. Model # 35BK-H. I need advice on why it starts up and runs, but then no power. It will not rev up! Can anyone relate to this situation ~

I assume its got a 4bt cummins in it? Check the throttle linkage on the injection pump to the gas pedal. See if something is broke. Start the engine and move the linkage on the injection pump. If it revs up by moving the linkage on the pump then you have a broken piece in your throttle linkage or cable.

That model has the Case 207 engine. It could still be as dieseleric suggests. Also could be clogged filter or fuel tank inlet.

How long since fuel filter was changed? Check for good fuel flow from tank to filter. Check fuel return line/fittings for plugging from inj pump to fuel tank.

I am having the same issues with a Mahindra 3016. I put fuel in (right to the top, which is says not to do), it ran fine one day then the next run it started losing power to the point that I was barely able to return it to the parking area. Changed the fuel filter with no results!

More information would help ---- does it start OK??? Does it run fine for a while and then lose power?? Have you checked the tank vent in the fuel cap as was suggested above??

This tractor has about 13 hr total.
It was asked whether or not the tractor started...it did when I installed the new fuel filter, and it initially ran wherein the throttle would rev up the engine, but it did not run smooth. I added "Seafoam" to the fuel and left it running. It would cycle with slumps and peaks with the rpm (throttle set at less than 1500 rpm), and it finally stalled after about half an hour. It would then not start.
The 3616 has screws to "bleed" the fuel line, but the 3016 does not, so I guess my next step is to loosen or undo the fuel line and crank it over. Yes???

If no fuel bleed screws are present on fuel filter housing then yes loosen supply line at inj pump. Have you checked for good fuel flow from tank?

I would bleed it all the way to the nut on the top of each injector.

Well, it turns out that the fuel was bad. I could not see "water" in the fuel, but I drained out all of the fuel and re-filled the tank with new fuel from a different supplier. The machine now runs okay. Hooray!
