no start tc45da killing me!

Overnight, this tractor will turn over but not start. Checked the fuses, all good. Do not have power to fuel solenoid. Ran a line from the battery and the solenoid clicked. Have the fuel solenoid removed right now. Took the line off the injectors but cannot get diesel to flow by starting it with the ignition. Used starting fluid on it, it started, had plenty of diesel at the injectors. Reattached injector lines, no start. Used starting fluid again, fired right up, would run for a moment and then die. If I could get it started I'd put it on the trailer and take it to the dealer. I'm lost on where to look next.

Welcome to TBN. :welcome: Simple stuff like you forgot to disengage or accidently hit the PTO lever, the HI/LO range lever not in neutral, or not sitting in the seat, even though you should not have to if all the others are correct, will not let it start. Believe me, you would not be the first to find it's something simple. If all the safety switches are operating correctly then the operator safety module causes a relay to power the solenoid so you get fuel.

Page 3-42 of the manual shows that the fuel shutoff solenoid is powered by the fuel shutoff relay, relay #1, which is powered by circuit breaker CB-1. CB-1 appears to also power the safety switches and operator safety module. There are three safety switches: operator's seat, PTO, and neutral start.

I would first check the position and wiggle all the levers. If that does not work check the circuit breaker and the relay. If they are good then a safety switch is probably not working, unplugged, or bad.
