My first hay season in the TN75's air conditioning sure is nice. It was 95 degrees yesterday with a heat index of 108 degrees, but I was round baling without breaking a sweat while listening to old-time country on the satellite radio. What a difference from last year.

While running the A/C all day, I noticed that the headliner got wet overhead near the A/C vents. I also noticed that no condensate was draining from the two plastic tubes on the right side of the tractor (one under the rear fender and one at the bottom of the front post of the cab). I blew compressed air in the tubes and they don't seem to be clogged. Does anyone have an idea what the problem might be? Thanks.

There was a drain problem on the earlier ones but I thought this had been solved. RickB might know more about this since he works on TN's often.

We ran into a couple where the drain tube under the cab top had been run over a support instead of under it causing the water to try to go up hill and causing the pan to overflow resulting in the fabric getting wet.

In that case, to access the problem, do you drop the headliner/A/C controls (seems to have some non-reusable plastic attachments) or somehow raise the blue plastic roof?

The headliner will have to come down. The plastic "Christmas trees" are non-reusable unless you find the pins that you have to push through to unlock them. They are cheap enough. a pack of 10 longer and 3 packs of 10 shorter ones will reinstall the headliner. The 'B' pillar covers will have to come off. Sunscreen stays on the liner, A/C control panel can be wiggled through the liner and hang by the wires/cable. Speakers, recirc vents and dome lamp need to come off.

RickB,

Thanks, thats what I needed to know. Can I get the plastic fasteners from my NH dealer? Or should I try the method you mentioned of pushing out the center pins?

Not to hijack the post, but when i first read the title i thought "'No sweat hay baling' now THAT's an oxymoron!" /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

oxymoron=air breathing idiot /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

To get back to the question, Lowes has a little special section in their hardware, that sells these fasteners. Also, there is an online co. that does too, that has been mentioned before. The name escapes me right now, but I'll try to find it. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

The pins need to be pushed through to release the fastener. Some of the pins will be found, some drop out of reach. 30 of 5162852 and 10 of 5162851 from New Holland will be enough to completely secure the headliner and 'B' pillar covers.

Jason; I couldn't find the place I was talking about, but RickB gave you NH parts numbers. That oughta work. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
