Hi folks.

We are in the process of improving some sheep country.
We are slashing the fields for mulch and I want to improve the pasture with some perrennial rye grass and clover seed.

I figure it should be fairly easy to add a single tine/seed dropper+hopper/roller to the front left hand corner of the slasher.

Then the seed should be dropped into a shallow drill, rolled and have a layer of mulch dropped over it.

I know it will only put a narrow line of seed but as I am slashing anyway it should help.

Any ideas will be appreciated.

I wouldn't, slashers/bush hogs jump around a lot and throw things. You're drill would take a beating and won't likely plant much at a useful depth. You also wouldn't be able to turn much when the slasher is down because you'd rip the opener disc sideways from the tailswing on the unit.
