be very careful putting anything around a condenser.......its purpose is to get rid of the heat it picks up inside.......the harder it is to do that by decreased air flow the harder it has to work and the less efficient it will be resulting in a shorter life span......the air flow is not just out the top but also the air it draws in from all four sides..........Jack
