Thanks to all who responded to my last post. I got the fuel lines bled last night and tractor starts up great. I went out and did maybe 25 minutes of rototilling in loose soil, so tractor wasnt working that hard...rpms kinda low as i was in 1st gear not goin that fast as i was tilling. I switched of tractor to move a hose and when i turned the key to restart, my oil light, temp light, and buzzer came on. I drove it back to the garage and turned it off. 10 minutes later all lights and buzzer would go off if i turned the key to on (without starting). 20 minutes later buzzer didnt come on but oil light and temp light both come on. There is plenty of coolant. belt to water pump looks in good condition and is not loose. From my previous experience with diesels, it doesnt seem to be running that hot, i dont smell burning oil. This problem has been somewhat evident since i bought it (ive run it maybe 6 times, never worked it hard, due to warning lights). I topped of oil and am still getting warning light...i did have some oil come out of the oil overflow tube but that was a little while back...dont know if it indicates too much oil? I did a search for these warning light issues and found many entries on bigger tractors, plus im really new to this, apologies if this is a redundant/super common newbie question...

According to the owners manual:

Check indicator lamps-
Turn key switch clockwise to "on" position. Oil pressure indicator (top right) and charging system (bottom right) lamps should glow.

If horn button is pushed, cooling water temperature indicator (top left) and fuel indicator (bottom left) lamp and oil pressure top right should go on and an alarm should sound.

Once engine has started......check indicator lamps- if lamps on the right side (oil and charging) do not go out, stop the engine and determine the cause.

Top left lamp- coolant temperature indicator-
coolant temperature indicator lamp goes on and and alarm sounds when the engine is overheating. If this lamps goes on and an alarm sounds, stop engine immediately and determine the cause.

Top right lamp- oil pressure indicator -

The oil pressure lamp goes on and an alarm sounds when the main switch is turned on. After the engine has started this lamp goes out and the alrms stops. If not, stop the engine immediately and determine the cause.

Hope this answers some of your questions.

Sounds like you might have an electrical gremlin in there somewhere. I just dealt with one on one of my 146's. I ended up just swapping everything over to my other 146 just so I could buy time till winter.

Most of all those lights, safety switches, etc were all diabled at some point by previous owners/hacks. None of my tractors has the seat safety anymore, and only one still has the horn and "idiot" lights working (I think).

I just check the oil and coolant before I start everytime and let her rip.
