Looks like i might be inheriting a L2800 without a loader. I need a FEL pretty badly and was trying to find out what needs to be done to attach one. It has never had a loader on it. Anything that needs to be done to the tractor? or could i get a woods / brush hog / kubota loader and hook it up. I know a total beginner question. But everyone has to start somewhere.

I dont think anything really needs done to the tractor.

Call the dealer and get a material list for new loader install. Cause you need more than just a loader. You need the valve/hydraulics, mounting posts, etc. And I think the loader "kits" also include the front brush guard.

It is just 3 connections to the existing hydraulic power block under your right foot... but hold on to your hat for the prices for all the loader components. It is going to be a "couple of bucks:)"

You can certainly put an aftermarket loader on the machine also. Ansung (Korean made) loaders are popular loaders for Kubota's as a 3rd party loader or others as you mentioned.

L2800 is pretty recent model - the LA463 loader fits it - and several other models.
