nortac n204c spins over wont start

hello,
I have a nortrac 204c bought new, always have had a long crank time, have noticed over the last year taking longer to crank, now spins puffs a time or two but wont crank ?

If you have power to turn the engine over and it will not start most of the time its a fuel issue, have you checked or replaced all the Fuel filters? Do you use your glow plugs? Are they working

I have not recently replaced the fuel filter ,I found one on the right side of the engine looking at the engine
also to know if I turn the key once to crank and it doesn't crank, and then attempt to turn th key again
nothing happens,engine wont turn over, usually cranks after a long crank time or several attempts,yesterday
just refused to crank

Suggest that you use a multimeter to check the voltage getting to the small terminal on the starter solenoid while cranking the engine to start.
