Nortrac 35 XTD - Throttle Lever Relocation

The original location of the throttle lever wasn't very good for me and I'd always bump it with my leg when operating the dozer. It didn't take long for this to become a major annoyance, so I took some time to relocate it to a better spot. I was able to reuse everything like the cable and mounting hardware, just had to drill 2 new mounting holes. I was also sure to check clearance between the ends of the bolts under the dash and fuel tank and there is plenty. It turned out pretty good i think and I might even get a new decal for it.

That is an excellent mod. I hadn't thought of that, and I think I'll do it too because I'm always knocking the throttle getting in and out of the machine. Here's a tip: Occasionally put a few drops of oil down that cable tube. I had to replace my cable awhile back (with stainless steel cable) because it rusted to the jacket and broke. Water got in it somehow.
I don't think I'll have to relocate my drink holder either. Lol.

Don't know if I mentioned this before but this is a very good quality unit. I have it mounted underneath the ROPS. Very handy for grading. Not as accurate as a laser system but good for general grading (much cheaper too).
