Wow thanks for this fast responses. I guess the list of duties my tracktor will have to pull of for me is:
- Snow plowing, both with a Snowblower and a plow, big area heavy snow, and a long way to move it to be out of the way
- handeling round balls ( is that what it is called in english?:ashamed

well heavy stuff for feedeing animals...
- Handelign tuff terrain, hilly roads and steep slopes
- low ground pressure ( okay i guess it is difficult to have something heavy anough to move alott of snow, and at the same time be gentle to soft ground )
- transport heavy loads of food for animals on a trailer.
- make wood for fire
I do not harvest enything yet, as I only have horses, the horses graze in the summer time, after my neighbour have harvested the first time.
Prize range in NOK - 100.000,- up to 200.000,- inkl taxes (MVA) from what I have learned from finn.no ( a norwgian web store for all kinds of things, inkluding tractors)
i could get somehing that i would like for about 185.000,- NOK it is a Massey Ferguson 6190 from 1998 with a loader, good tires and seems nice, that seems to be good value for money.
at least so far this is my best find. However there is a serious gamble with it, as it is sold as is, with an electrical error, It might suddenly just stop for now apperent reason.
Also after it has been stopped, either by malfunction or manually by normal stopping procedures, it might start again but, moving backwards when you try to go forward. This event occurs usually in wet conditions, and rearly in cold dry conditions.
Could this be the right tractor for me ? I am quite handy with reparing cars, and I have a good educations when it comes to electronics, so I am thinking that I could be able to fix it for a low cost.
But it depends on what is really wrong with it, if it is a sensor, or the wiring harness, then not a to big issue, but if it is something with the brain, or hardware in the clutch/gearbox, then expencive and difficult to handle in the garrage.
Well, thanks so far for the good advices, and I am glad to tell you that I am truly blessed with good neighbours that have been given me a lot of advice, forinstance they say I should not consider Jhon Deere, unless I really enjoy
reparing gearboxes.... and to my surprise, at finn.no I have found that a lot of the John Deers for sale, either has, or have had major gearbox issues... I hope I dont affend ayone bye this last statement, but this beeing the main reason
for my focus on Massey Fergusson.... next Ford / New Hollands ?
