JD 4110
I got my 4110 (410 FEL and 46 BackHoe) back this morning. I had received a flyer from the JD dealer I acquired the tractor from giving a winter special for the works, and I took it.

For $355, they replaced all the filters on it (air, oil, hydro, fuel etc.), replaced the oil, did a full hydro service, greased all the zerks (and there are a lot of those when you include the FEL and BH) tested everything to spec (including everything from tire pressure to battery cable bolts), picked it up and delivered it, and detailed it with a power wash and a wax. It looks new.

Not a bad deal. I could have saved some money doing all that myself, but I'd still have all that oil and hydro fluid to deal with, and I would have had to track down all the filters and fluids, and it would have taken me all day to do the work -- and probably some swearing and it still would have cost me for all those filters and fluids. It's also at the end of the bumper to bumper warrenty, so I wanted them to find anything that might require fixing now. They didn't find anything, but I feel better about it.

Now it's all ready for another summer of getting it dirty again.

Good deal. Not to mention supporting your local dealer! They remember that when you need them...

Great deal!! I'd have my checkbook out in a New York minute if the dealer sent me a notice like that in the mail! Inner and outer air filter, oil filter, hydraulic filter, fuel filter. Greasing and a good check over for any problems along with a fresh oil change... Yup, great deal. And they changed out the hydro oil for that, too? Let's see --- for me, that's 6 gallons @ $12/gallon. /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif And a wash and shine...?!?

I agree it was a good deal. I would have to consider it.

I just completed a complete 50 hr service on my 4110 3 weeks ago. The genuine John Deere supplies ran me a little over $75. That didn't include the grease that I had bought seperately.

The two hours of my time changing all the oils with my son and nephew were priceless though. Hopefully instilling in them the need to service things correctly and timely, along with giving them the confidence that they can do stuff themselves.

When they are grown, I may send my 4110 to the dealer. I have no doubt that I will still own it at that time.

Nothing runs like a Deere.
