Not even officially Summer yet and 101*

WOW! Really Hot out today here in N.E. Ga,
Had to come in from working on In-laws RV got too hot.... at 3:30 is 101* I bet heat index is 110*..... and can you believe it is not even Officially Summer Yet I can only imagine what we're in store for when comes middle Summer:drool:
You Older TBN members please take it easy out there This Summer.

We are having just the opposite in Washington/Oregon. Saturday was the first time we have reached 80 degrees all year. Sunday went back to 70 and today 63 for a high. We are at 7 times our normal June rainfall only halfway through the month with more rain coming tomorrow. After our warmest Winter in years, we are having our coldest Spring. I do not envy the heat you are having but I would sure love to have more than one sunny day between rain storms out here!

Cool and damp up in these neck of the woods..enough so one could smell/see smoke from chimneys last evening...mother nature watering garden last five days.

We haven't had that kind of heat yet here in Mid-Missery, but the endless rain is making up for it. I think the hottest day might have been in the low 90's, though it stays in the 70's all night. But the rain is killing me for outside work. I've had to mow so much wet grass that I'm worried I'll kill my old rider. I picked wet green beans, even though that's a good way to spread disease, simply because it was pick 'em wet or not at all. When I've been able to work outside, the humidity has kept me so wet that when it starts to rain it feels good. Turns out weeding in the rain is OK, if I can keep my glasses dry. Unfortunately, many of the rain showers have also been thunder showers, and my garden is too close to some big oak trees for comfort when Thor starts throwing his hammer around.

Chuck - why don't you at least put he state you live in where we could see it. ? I doubt anyone would bother you or be able to find you if you put just he state. I wouldn't be afraid if I were you.

We've been surfing a major heat wave for the last ten days.

Today @ 2PM, outside official NOAA temperature is 101*F and the heat index is 129*F and it has not rained in the last three weeks.

Pretty soon, North Central Florida will look like Libya or Algeria.....
