I hope the owner considered the effect his (or her) color choice would have on resale value.
In the back of my mind would be some lingering doubts about the judgement of the person making the decisions about the mechanical restoration as well. If he decided to paint it that color, what other offbeat ideas went into the mix?

Did we not see the young lady operator? Simply a girl telling dad, "Sure, I will help on the farm...but can I have a pretty pink tractor to do my chores?" Followed by the batting of eyes and a few round of "Please...pretty please?"

Yeah, pretty sure this one is the culprit. Pink is no doubt her favorite color.
