Hello guys. Been lurking long time, very great site with lots of info & fun!
My name is Joe, from north central Ohio. Not alot of expirence on computer or tractors, other than garden tractor. Have 2 acres of yard of my own, with access to woods. Need to put in yard drains, haul dirt, mulch, logs for firewood & anything else I can think up. Was looking at 2520 till I saw a 3320. Well, I made the mistake? of operating it, enough said! 3320 with a front loader 300cx, want more info on 4 way bucket. Backhoe 447 or 448, or woods 70 or 80. Mid pto, though I don't need it now, all this from reading your posts. I mow with a Gravely 152Z. Have lots of questions. thanks to all for the fantastic site & info!!

Welcome to TBN.
You are like many new tractor shoppers. Buying a tractor that will meet all your needs will cost quite a bit of money. Plus 2 acres of lawn does not need a very large tractor.
Every one of the BH's mentioned will do the jobs you mention. I would look at one that has the longest reach that will fit the tractor you choose.

Welcome aboard...there's more than a wealth of info here!
Check out the 2520 real careful, I just got mine home recently and have been more than impressed. Maybe the cost savings from the 3000 series down to the 2520 would allow a larger selection of attachments, either way have a ball!

You will not go wrong with any of the tractors that you are looking at. Look real hard at what you want to accomplish and the size of your lot. Another factor is the speed that you want to accomplish your tasks. If you go with the 25 series you will just take longer to accomplish the tasks. Like the others stated you will save alot of money by getting the smaller footprint machine. With that left over $$$$$ you can afford more toys (tools) for it. The second piece of advice I will offer is to get the biggest engine you can put into the size footprinp you decide on. That way you will never have a loos of power for you machine. I had a 770 for about 7 years and went to the 3720 when the 770 was too small to handle my commericial application. I loved my 770 and would still have it today if I could. It meet all my needs when I was just taking care of my 6.5 acres. I started doing tractor work for friends and then thier friends started asking and the next thing I knew I was in the grading landscape business part time.

Thanks guys. Yes, I do know 2 acres isn't much for a 3320. But, after looking at SCUTS & small frame tractors, for the tasks I am going to do, logging, firewood, ground engaging work, I did not like the ground clearance or the weight of the tractors. Looked at Kubota, & NH. Wanted to look at Kioti, but seem to have problems right now. Was set on 2520, largest engine/small frame, seems no one had one on their lot & couple months to get. Finally seen & drove one, then the 3320. I know the 3120, less HP, 3520 & 3720 are the same size & weight. Figured 3320 was enough PTO HP for what I need{ not to mention $$$$$ }. Not much clearing in friends woods to get F-250 around. Plus, down the road as mentioned by Dex, I can see commercial work. The 2520 seemed to have plenty power, but smaller axles & ground clearance. The 3320 just seemed right. Thought 3120 would be great, but as everyone on here says, try to step up in HP.

Thanks again...Joe

Dex, if you don't mind me asking, is that a 4 in 1 bucket on your 3720? If so, how do you like it & what is the price compared to 61" H.D. bucket? I could
not find the 4 in 1 on JD's website.

Thanks....Joe
