Flail Mower Not sure what type of flail mower this is

I purchased this flail mower Its a bit over 6' I think 6'6" I am not sure where to start on seeing if I can repair it.
Im not even sure what brand it is It seems to look like an alamo but Im not to familiar with flail mowers
Its from a cememtary and it was sitting for a while
If anyone has any advice on identifying the make
would it even be be worth it to service this unit?

IT appears to be a Mott finish flailmower;

IT IS like actually finding a needle in a hay stack!!!


taking it to a car wash or a someone with a steam Jenney,
sand blasting, painting, straightening the bent
metal on the side weldment, changing the oil, replacing the belts,
downloading a manual from the web site here and you will have a
mower that is really worth at least $4,000USD by then if you treid
to buy a used one at an auction

and a new PTO shaft and

It looks like a fine cut Mott, bought out by Alamo. The cutting width should be your model #. We supply the majority of the parts for it. The blades are .62 each. I could mail you a catalog, or you can download one from our website. The website is being rebuilt at the moment, but the catalog will still work. the gear does not seem to be turning

the flails and the rollers spin fine

when I opened the gear oil plugs it seemed to have some frozen water in there (Im sure thats not good)

I took off the cap on the rear of the gearbox but Im not sure if I should take the entire cover off....

also there is a hole in the arm that comes of the gearbox that goes to the pulleys
not sure what this hole is for
Is it for grease?

I Hope I can get this machine going, If it has hope I will order a new belt some bearings new flails etc..and try to get it working well
and then clean it up blast it and paint her up

I have a brush hog and really want to se the difference in what a flail actually does
I have a kubota l4240 that I am using I also have to get a loader which I am looking at the ansung and woods loader not sure if anyone has feedback
