No action has been taken on the bill yet, however it is very scary to me that any of our representatives would even introduce this legislation. The bill states that any person who owns an "assault weapon" or "large capacity magazine" by the bills definition has 90 days once enacted to either destroy your weapons or turn them in to law enforcement. No grandfather clause is given and failure to do so is considered a class C felony.
