Now Available BH custom brackets for 3x20&4x20 cab tractors

Hi all JD owners:

I have information for all you people out there wanting to put a BH on your John Deere 3X20 & 4X20 factory cab tractors.A dealer here in wisconsin is making mounting brackets for 447 & 448 Backhoes to fit on the cab tractors. The new brackets will still have the Unique RockShaft Assist so you can take on & off in 5 mins or less. The new brackets allow you use a BackHoe on your cab tractor. It will have the Power Beyonded kit that will run you BH and not a rear pto pump like other brands.

This is useful info for me. My dealer has told me every month since I've bought my 3320 cab tractor last year there is no power beyond kit avaliable yet. I'll try to call them tomorrow and go from there. Even been trying to find an aftermarket kit that would look original with no luck.

Woods X type backhoes have been available with power beyond for the 3X20's and 4X20's for some time. They e-mailed me a manual for the mount.

I was at my dealer last week and he mentioned that Deere is coming out with a backhoe for the 3x20 and 4x20 cab tractors this year. I didn't push for specifics, but I believe he said he saw one in Sarasota at the Deere camp.

Has anyone talked to the person about these custom brackets since this was posted awhile back? One of the posts said they sent email but had not head back from him. I passed the info on to my sales person at my dealer. He just asked me about it again. Someone must have an interest there in a cab model but needs a BH.

??? I don't think anyone really has been selling PTO pumps for almost 10 years.

I knew it could be done! I've always said it would take a bracket with a little more length for clearance and the backhoe should mount. Why John Deere didn't come out with this earlier I have no clue, because it is such a simple fix.

I was at my dealer today for John Deere Days. He said he called the guy mentioned at the top of this post. They do not as yet have a working product. This is not a Deere offer. My Dealer said Deere is looking at the BH option. The snag he said was the weight ratio by extending the BH further out. What they said. Time will tell.
