Now I'm convinced, Superwinches are POS

i never will use the rope on my winch because the winchs i rebuilt for a guy all had rope . the rope was strong just not strong enough to handle running through the picker bushes. i was gonna try it one time but when i was ordering parts for the guys winch i was given a good deal from the company on some stainless steel cable .i really don't care for the regular old steel cable because of the fact that one of the guys first winchs he didn't spray the cable down with oil every few weeks to keep the water and rust out and well lets just say it wasn't fun cutting through the cable to get it off the spool. them smittybilt winchs have a powerfull motor on them infact i think they have the biggest motor in the winch market. my warn 2500 only has a 1.9 hp motor and so does the gorilla winch i have that is a 3k lbs winch . now smitty on the other hand has a 3.? hp motor them things must pull like a mule.

I called Superwinch and and they advised they are familiar with my issues because they got my pictures I sent them. They wanted the winch back from Amazon so they could inspect it but said sometimes its hard to get things back from them. They asked if I sent the second one back and I said no. Long story short, They are sending me another one directly from them (Superwinch) and I am sending the defective one back to them so they can see first hand whats going on with it. I am satisfied with this. I really wanted to give Superwinch a chance to make this right and since they seem interested in finding out what the issues with these winches are, the least I can do if give them that chance.
