I was recently quoted ~$1700.00 for the front blade on a 2305. The configurator prices it at only $1282.00 with blade, front quick hitch, hydraulics and hydraulic angling.

Also, I priced out a Frontier attachment online today. I paid $795 for a 6' 'standard' rear blade one year ago. The Isanti County Equipment, Inc. website lists it LIST for only $705 and their price is $609. Did I really pay almost 30% more?!

What are others paying for these? Thanks!

(Oops - I pressed "submit new thread" by accident earlier).

I would print off the configuration price of $1282 and ask him what you missed.

You may have shipping on top of regular price. Surcharges are now becoming the norm in many industries. Still seems strange the price is that much higher than MSRP.

I just paid ~$3007 out the door for a 366 blade and front 3PT hitch, and that is very close to the Deere configurator total price, so Yep I would bring in the configurator and I would shop around to get a better offer, and then bring that into the local dealer.

My local dealer sells close to configurator prices, at least in my experience for CUTS and attachments. He is in the row crop tractor business and don't think he wants to fool with the small stuff. I drive about 240 miles to where the dealer is in the CUT market. Prices are hugely different for tractors. Attachments, don't think there is much difference but guess there's not much play there either.

Hiya,

Welcome to New England pricing on compact utility tractors and attachments. You can work with most dealers when buying a tractor package. (but don't think your going to find a huge difference between dealers of the same brand, they all talk to each other)

Best I seem to be able to do is list price if I'm willing to wait for stock order delivery. On the configurator pricing, shipping is always additional. The closest dealer does give 10% off of parts 2 times a year but not "whole goods"

You can get better pricing on AG equipment if you buy off the lot cause in most parts of NE, farms are now for raising houses, not crops.

OK, soap box is put away,

Tom
