Kioti NS4710
I take care about 20 acres of family property. I did a bunch of research before I bought my current NS4710. I love the little tractor.
I was in a bind and had to make some decisions before parish(county) cut some of this property at a very high charge and wasn't really thinking it all the way through. I did research the Kioti line and felt comfortable buying it and my local dealer is really good.
I have narrowed to the NS6010C or the NX5510C. Both would be shuttle shift. I have to order both so there will be a wait. There is only a $500 difference between the two.
Besides minor differences in appearance, the NX being all eclectic sensors, the NS being mechanically linked. What other options are standard on the NX that aren't standard on the NS?
Any good bad or ugly on either of those 2?
Thanks

i thought the nx had been discontinued?
regarding the good, bad ugly. it's widely believed that the nx was discontinued due to a number of issues related to the electronic controls and the NS is a safer purchase

I have never been able to confirm this from an official Kioti source. That is why I still take it with a grain salt. Another rumor is they are upgrading the NX line to LED everything including the instrument panel. Again, not Kioti confirmed!

I ended up ordering the NS6010C. The distributor told my dealer they could only deliver the NX line that they had at the distributor. He asked if they were discontinued and he said NO. It will be interesting to see what happens to the NX series "officially"!

If I were ordering I'd go with the NS; I've just heard too much about transmission problems with the NX.

Agreed,
Interestingly I watched eric's 200hr review video of his NX and it seems like many of his wish list of changes for the NX have been incorporated into the NS. And Eric did have transmission issues

I would like them to update the DK20SE line- love the size/power of that thing just needs some updates to be truly SE

Also I saw somewhere a person saying a dealer told him 66hp NS was on it's way
Anyone heard similar?

I truly hope not!
I think that would be odd. The NS6010 is the highest HP of the CUT's I had looked at. At least in my area, most people seeking that HP jump into an utility sized tractor. The price from the NS6010 to the RX6620C was trivial. I couldn't justify the cost for new accessories and trailer to haul the heavier tractor.

currently the highest hp cuts (i believe) are the jd 4066 and 4075- 66hp and 75 respectively- the application is high hp work in a maneuverable package. Think snowblowing.
i personally would be interested in more because i clear almost a mile of driveways with substantial sections of 10-14% grade and have to do it quite often. the steepness means the tractor is going a lot of work to haul itself up the hill with hydrostatic loss and is trying to do hp intensive work on the back end. a utility tractor would simply be too large, as it is my 3720 is about the right size, just low on ponies
