Since I first got my NX there has been this very slight sticking of the FORWARD HST pedal. There would be this click as it would quickly free itself back up, returning to the neutral position. I just kind of figured that it would wear itself in. Last couple of days [at about 310 hours], however, it's started to really stick. I was doing a lot of grading, going forward and reverse, and kept getting the "cal" light coming on. It was frustrating. I finally noted that the pedal was sticking very slightly. Also realized that the tractor's forward movement wasn't ceasing when I let off the pedal (not good). If I rapidly stomp on the travel pedal, immediately pulling up my foot, it'll return to the neutral position.

Got underneath and looked at the linkage (tried lubing it up and that didn't help). The linkage rod's fork end at the rear end seems to be at enough of an angle (bent?) to bind within the pedal connection (the pedal connections sandwich the fork, with the fork's pin riding in both halves of the pedal connection pieces). The pin has a hole for a keeper clip but there's no clip (missing?), but it doesn't seem like it's needed because that pin is really in there (press fitted?)- I cannot budge it. I was hoping to be able to rotate that end 180 degrees so that any bend (manufacturing defect?) is oriented the other way., but no go. I tried opening up the gap where that rod end and pin travels in but also no go (can't get a good angle): access is impossibly difficult. The manual (page 465) has no detail on that end of the linkage, no hints as to how that pin is removed. I am pondering trying to bend that rod (to shift the angle of the fork end) but worry that it might break the weld(?) between the rod and the fork.

Anyone else encounter something like this (associated with this linkage)? If so, how was it rectified?

Here's a picture. Should be clear what's happening here.
