Has anyone put either a factory or aftermarket subframe on a NX for a Backhoe? Trying to decide if I want to buy a subframe for my backhoe or redo the subframe that I used on my kubota. Dealer is asking 750 for a kioti brand frame.

Just thought I'd bump this and see if anyone has done this now that the nx has been out a while now.

Not I. Have you compared a Woods 90 to the Kioti 2485?

Could fab up a subframe out of 80 series.

I purchased a NX4510 with the KB2485 backhoe November 2015 and love it. As dumb as it was I purchased in the spring of 2015 a CK35HST with a KB2475 backhoe and decided I really wanted a cab so I traded. I had zero troubles with the CK but for winter I wanted the cab and everybody warned against the CK without A/C in summer hence the trade (and the dealer gave me almost full trade in value). Anyway, I love the NX and backhoe. I read somewhere on here how they wondered about the backhoe operation being impeded by the cab. I now can say that operating the backhoe you don't even realize the cab is there. I really liked the CK but you can definately feel the NX greater digging force and seems fairly significant.
The downside of the CK vs NX is the CK I could stand beside it and inch my way back over the sub frame. Once you do it the next time is relatively quick. The NX, not so much. Set the brake, neutral, get out, verify position, get in, remove break, put in gear, move to what you think will work and repeat the process over and over....I haven't tried going around the seat safety so I can work it like the CK by using your hand to inch it back onto the bh but I'm thinkin that is one mod that will ease the pain a lot..

I still haven't bought or modified my subframe on my back hoe. I did need it a month ago to dig a hole And was able to use the loader to carry the hoe over where I needed it, I then let the hoe and frame set flat on the ground , backed the tractor over the top of the frame to hook up the pump and use it. Took a bit of work but sure was a lot less than a shovel. :) I am going to have to decide if I want to buy the factory one or mod mine pretty soon, because I need to bury electric, water and cable tv to my shop. I bypassed my seat switch right after buying mine.

WAIT WAIT WAIT...how about buying a cheap harbor freight jack...then back your tractor over the hoe, jack the tractor and take the tires off...then drop it to pin the hoe to the ground? Haha...

Well we laugh but that's pretty much what I did. :) placed bottle jacks on the front and rear part of the subframe up to the tractor and let the tractor weight hold it in place, I also took a chain and ran from the front of the subframe on up to the front frame hooks on the tractor to keep the hoe from pulling backwards as I dug.

700 seems reasonable to me for a factory frame mount.
I built my own for a small Kubota I had, with that said unless you have the material lying around and some time to kill I would purchase mount.
The heavy steel is not cheap.

Well I broke down and purchased a subframe for my NX today, got a really good deal I couldn't pass up. Now just have to mount my case backhoe unit to the subframe.
