NX sound system

Am not very impressed with the radio or speakers in the NX. Has anyone upgraded to something better? Did you have any problems hooking up a new receiver? I am guessing speakers would be an easy upgrade. Any input would be appreciated.

I never use speakers, but prefer to use my Bluetooth headphones whenever using the tractor radio or even more commonly just streaming music from my phone directly to the headphones.

I've seen a few threads about upgrading both the speakers and the radio. I don't recall them being extremely difficult to install. The only challenge people have is raising the roof of the cab to replace the speakers and receiver. Looks like everything else is plug and play.

You may also want to hit up Eric as I think he did some sound deadening in his cab.

Hope this link works. I have limited permissions on this site. You can go to the start of Kioti Own/Op Forum, use "Search Tool" from the right upper drop down Menu and type " NX+ speakers+stereo" and you can scroll thru for options. BOL.

It’s as simple as any normal car stereo swap, the radios can be swapped with out removing the top, if you do wish to work under the top alone just remove the 2 nuts on the front mounts and the two on the side mounts, then loosen the two rear nuts till they are at the end of the threads, then you can tilt the front of the top up and support it with a short rod or 2 by. Keeping the rear nuts on the mounts will keep the top from accidentally coming off the tractor, then to swap out the speakers you can switch the nuts to the front mounts and raise the back of the cab top.

I've got my cab top off and figure now would be a good time to replace the speakers. Anyone have any recommendations? I've got an aftermarket stereo (22w RMS and 50w peak).
