Need some ideas please!
Was working with a buddy the other day, and he noticed the left front wheel of my tractor was squeaking intermittently when I was rolling forward. Seems to be squeaking in time with the wheel revolutions (one squeak per revolution). I didn't really notice it...but now I do!! Thanks unnamed friend....
Anyway, my first though was wheel bearing. I raised the front end off the ground with the loader and checked for bearing play, but there's absolutely none that I can discern, either side to side or top to bottom. I check the axle lube, and it's full there as well. I tried turning the wheel to see if I could feel drag or something, but nothing there either, possibly due to it not having any weight on it.
Any ideas?
