A few days ago I posted a question about A leaking O ring at the manifold on my Bx24,although many have viewed the thread I have got no response.Has no one made this repair?Ok many many posts about recalls and bringing them back to the dealer,but how about letting other members know what size the bolt is (26mm),the size of the O rings.Is the only answer to cut a hole in the bottom of the battery case?I put some sealant around the bolt and for now its holding,but when I repair it I will post what I did,How I did it and include the part numbers and any other info. that may help other members.Maybe I am missing something here,but have spent hours on the site and it seems all answers are to bring it to the dealer for repair.For us hands on guys that is not the answer we are looking for.It is terrible when someone comes to a site looking for info(some in a panic)than when they get the answer to a repair they disappear with no answer as to the end result.

First, I don't have a BX so doubt I can help with your repair.
Next, this post is confusing to me. You say you have a leaking O ring at the manifold, then you say you cut a hole in the bottom of the battery case and put sealant around the bolt. Is the battery located on top of the manifold blocking access to the bolt.
Last, I am a hands on guy when it come to service on my tractor but if my tractor is under warranty I'd be having the dealer do the repair so it's on record even if I knew I could do it myself.
I have made quite a few posts over the years giving step by step direction of things I have done on my LS, Mahindra, and other tractors and other owners have appreciated it. Sometimes it takes a few days before someone with a similar problem reads the post and replies.

Thanks George.no I didn't cut the bottom of the battery box ,was just saying what others were posting,unless you had a look at the manifold location on the BX you would see why such drastic measures you would need for a simple O ring.good lookin out!
Disappointing that you are not getting ANY replies from some of the MANY B and BX owners on here! Maybe re-post with a little more info in the thread title like " BX Intake Manifold O-Ring Replacement Problem"?
