I've got a new MX4700 with a Long grapple. I recently had to replace a pinched hose on the grapple. I used it today for the first time since replacing the hose. At first, everything worked normally, but after about 10 minutes (and shutting the tractor off) the FEL would barely lift, the grapple was very slow opening and closing with no pinch force, but the curl function was normal. I thought the hydraulic fluid was probably low, but the sight gauge on the rear end showed at least half way up the window. I cycled all of the FEL and grapple functions MANY times, but it changed nothing. Added about 1/2 gallon of hydraulic fluid which did not change the level in the sight glass. Finally, about an hour later of run time, the FEL functions and grapple came back to life. So, what happened? Did it just take that long to purge the new line? Why did this affect the lift on the FEL? BTW, the HST worked normally throughout the entire day.

Disconnect and reconnect all of your quick connects sometimes the move enough to pinch off flow. Been there done that.
