Odd Tasks To Pass The Time.....

Along the lines of passing the time and bugs ....

One of my outdoor cameras appears to have a bug. Literally. I'd noticed a spider wandering around for the last few days, apparently spinning a web that wasn't visible. Now it looks like there's a bug caught in the web. Might even be a bee. Camera is mounted on a pole about 25' up. I can swing the pole down, but don't really want to. I'll come up with something ...

Perhaps a garden hose could squirt that high to clean it? Or power washer if you have one?

It's poss -i- bull .....

Contraption is raintight from above since it's been there for a couple of years now. But I'm not sure it would be shooting water from below. Kinda like the siding thread. I'm thinking brush or duster on the end of a long pole, maybe conduit.

Those pesky bugs and spiders are all the time screwing up my garage door opener; they make the electric eye think someone or something is blocking the door.

You must be in some of the warmer states diggin. Lucky here, no bugs out yet to speak of.

Rigged up a stick and a 3/4"PVC conduit with an old toilet brush. I can reach the dome, but the breeze won't let me get to the right place. All I accomplished was to move the bug to a more prominent place in the picture. Will try again later.
