I know there is a Napa equivalent for my DK40SE HST oil filter. not sure about the others.

From what I have read the NAPA is only a few dollars less. Just wondering if using non OEM filters could cause warranty issues. I believe the Moss-Magnuson Act affords protection is after market filters are of similar quality.

If i can find aftermarket filters for hydro and HST I'm wondering how much i would really save?

Lots of folks seem to gravitate to aftermarket but if all i'm saving is $20-30 I'd likely support my local dealer. It would be nice to still have him in business if i need him. As far as the fluids I'll head to TSC.

Any thoughts/

Either dealer filters for a reputable brand at Napa.
There is a problem in the replacement parts markets with counterfeits . Bolts, filters and oil are favourites . There is a lot of markup by printing and expensive brand name box and placing cheap material within.

If I had a dealer nearby I'd go to that dealer, especially for those small items. I think there is value in maintaining communication with a current dealer. Unfortunately, my dealer went defunct. Even so, I tend to mail order filters and other parts from actual Kioti dealers. If I needed something right now, I'd go NAPA; but that is never the case with my scheduled tractor maintenance.

Just my humble thoughts,if I can afford a $20,000-$30,000 tractor I can afford to buy my filters from my local dealer.I believe it supports the dealer you bought from and builds a good relationship between you and your dealer.

Excellent point. Do you feel the same with fluids ?

I suppose not that much more and true if my dealer went under I'd be a good 75 miles from next closest Kioti shop.

I had my 50 hour service done at my local dealer.I do buy all of my oil filters/parts from my local Kioti dealer.I do buy my oil from local auto parts stores when I change my oil.

I was in the collision repair business for 25 years as owner. I have experienced the problems Techs have with installing AM parts in the collision end of things as far back as the 80s. I still stay in contact with some mechanical shops and hear and see the same things from them today. They wonder if installing chinese parts will fix it or not. I almost always go OEM these days just because the price difference is small and labor is worth more than a few dollars difference in price.

You won't find the HST filters anywhere but a Kioti dealer. I use all OEM filters and local fluid suppliers. Warranty would not be denied using aftermarket items, unless they were total crap, no spec junk. Any dealer staying in business due to customers buying filters/fluids from customers is just barely hanging on. Dealers make money on sales and service, and gravy on maintenance items. JMHO

At $13.50 for a Kioti engine oil filter filter and $7. and change for a NAPA Gold, I question your calculations; having said that, I still buy from my dealer

@ $13.50 for engine oil filter I would probably go to NAPA too. Bobcat & Kioti have different price structure but that filter from Bobcat would be $8.50 - $9 range. Another interesting point when just now looking up filters for my CT225/CK27 is the HST filter has a new part number and lower price. Previous number was 6695915 (Bobcat) - T2360-38031(Daedong number) with list price $45. New number is 6695914 (Bobcat) - T2195-38031 (Daedong) @ $21 list. No idea if the new number is coming through on the Kioti side, could order through Bobcat dealer and only difference would be painted black instead of orange.
