Wrong. wrong, wrong.

ALL fuel sold in California will be ULSD, whether it is dyed off-road diesel or clear on-road diesel.

There are no exceptions. That is the price (or penalty) that you pay for living in California.

That is correct, there is no other choice, and neither will there be anywhere else in North America (USA & Canada) in 2010 either.

But you still have a choice between dyed or un dyed correct.
That's all I was pointing out in my post

Correct, other than the dye and the cost (no taxes) the fuel is exactly the same and it's ULSD.

That's all I was trying to clarify in my post.

Wonder if they charge extra for the dye now?

There are some industries in my state that do a lot of idling to run pto on trucks to load or unload or if truck spends time offroad like logging or waste management, they can apply for fuel tax rebate for amount burned off road. It requires a lot of paperwork and documentation. My industry is thinking about it as it might be worth it now, because of higher prices. There have to be some state law or amendment passed to allow us to do it, we will probably need a lobbyist. plowking

Hey Mad:

I have enough in life to worry about that I can control, so I won't worry about the sulpher content of my diesel fuel which I can't control....but an interesting discussion anyway.
