Was using my ct 122 today and lost my front drive. Checked the linkage all is fine. Its gears or a stripped shaft. Still on warranty though. Seems to be a little weak if you ask me. Was pushing Loam and ran over a stump. When I backed over it the tire stopped square on the stump and spun only in the rear after. I don't want to repeat this ever again. Does this sound like a defective part or is a cut front diff really that brittle. I had atvs that I worked hard over trees and stumps while spinning and this would have never broke atv diff. Thanks for any responces. Ps. I have a fel,cab,72"rake instaled on the cut. No loaded tires. Was on a slight down hill. Turf tires. bucket was empty. And no I was not abusing it at all.

Hopefully it will be something simple like the drive shaft from the rear transfer case up to the front axle. Usually a splined collar connects the shaft at each end. One could have been assembled wrong and slid out of engagement. Did you hear any sound? If something broke under hi torque you would have heard something. The driveshaft on my 7520 broke with a snap under medium hi load at about 800hrs leaving me stuck in the manure pile. A cummulative effect on a manufacturing defect. I did some work on the new shaft to eliminate stress risers before I installed it.

...Wish you luck. Let us know how it turns out.

No loud noises at all. It just makes a slight clicking sound when i turn the front wheels by hand while the front tires are of the ground and four wheel engaged. Something is sheared or broken clean inside. Nothing is flopping around and no leaks.

4wd is all fixed. Warranty covered all. Thanks rogers sport center of fort kent and thanks to bobcat. They recomend a ballast for the rear. It was a broken gear in the diff that breaks before destroying major parts. Should cost under 300 if I break off warranty. Used all day today with a big smile!

Glad your are back up and running. Take their advise on rear ballast on the 3 pt. Weight on the 3 pt. not only provides weight to help prevent tipping but acts as a counter-lever to remove some weight off the front axle. The OP manual list how much weight to use with or without loaded tires. Personnaly I have loaded tires and still use the max weight list for "without loaded tires" for heavy loader work.
