Oh no, not another 3030 price check!

Hello from a new forum member.

I've spent considerable hours over the past month reading through many of this sites postings. This has helped me determine that a 3030 is most likley the model that will best meet my needs.

So today I went to my local dealer (Southern Maine) to discuss pricing. I would like to build a relationship with my local dealer and don't have a problem with him making a reasonable profit, I just don't want to be taken advantage of. Having rented many tractors in the past but having never purchased one, I could be "ripe for the picking" by a dealer who is more interested in making some extra money than in building a relationship. Here is the pricing I was given (I didn't negotiate with the dealer yet, I'll do that once I hear what reasonable prices might be for the equipment I'm considering):
B3030 with LA 403 FEL $18,300
BH75 Backhoe $ 7,300

I realize from reading the postings that pricing varies depending on which region of the country you live and also even among dealers within an area but any guidance or suggestions would be appreciated.

Once again, thanks to all of you who take the time to reply to postings, I have learned a great deal from all of you.

Price on the B3030 is not bad. But price for BH75 is on the high side.

I just received a price of $13,700 for the B-3030 sans loader. I don't know what the FEL is worth. Hope this helps.....

This web site link below will give you list price, for your set up. At least you will get a ballpark $$ as to how much your are getting off list. I understand New England has some of the higher $$ for tractors. /forums/images/graemlins/mad.gif

B3030 Cab Model ($4300 more than open model) with FEL $22,400 so your price seems about the same.
