I was thinking the same thing since i seen that article. I know we use straight 250w gear oil which is around a 60w-70w engine oil equiv. and it has tons of entraped air straight from the bottle pouring it into the machine same goes with the lucas product it's very thick also.

yah that's the basic idea i think alot of oil additives work on heavy weight gets between the gears and takes up some of the slack and slap from engines band-aiding the problem. But ah if it's junk to start with it couldn't hurt u know..
