Oil Change Frequency?

Most say 100 hours but, i usually err on the side of caution and go 50 hours due to the dusty conditions of 50 hours on my 1700. Others may have different ideas.

I change at 200 hrs or 1 year.I guess it depends on the oil used / usage as to how long to go between changes.

I change mine based more on calender time because I worry about condensation. May or may not be an issue, but I figure if water can build up in the gas tank, why not the engine block ? Plus, it give me more tinkering time with my Yanmar that way. 62 engine hours this year, oil & filter change twice so far and at least once more.
Where are you from, what do you drive ?

- Down to my lovable little red Mahindra with FEL, and backhoe.
Like BruceR, for at least the last 25 years, I've always taken a weekend to service my machines in October and April, regardless of the hours. The tractor and log splitter get an oil change both times. Things like the lawn tractor just get changed in October. Winter machines, like the snow thrower, get serviced in April. The two-cycle machines get cleaned and repaired.

I am in Central Illinois, very near Springfield. I have a Yanmar 2500 with loader and about 3 acres. I have more hours on the tractor this year as I am constructing a new building that has an open basement. I should have probably rented a bobcat, but that wouldn't be as much fun.....
I assume when you asked "what do you drive" you meant tractor, but just in case here is what I drive on the street:
