oil changes

weve put 75hrs on the mx5100 since the oil change.i was going to go to 150hrs or less before changing it.an my brother wants to change it at 75 getting it ready for hay season.when do you yall change your oil.

Typically, I only put 60-70 hours per year on my tractor. I replace the oil at the end of my "season"...November regardless of hours.

I change the oil once per year on my NH 1720...
Always change it when I put the RFM on and sharpen the blades...
I usually only run my tractor 60 to 70 hours per year...
New Holland recommend oil changes at 100 hours...
To me it is easier to remember this way...

thats about what we put on the tractor during the winter haying cows.will prolly put about 50hrs on it this summer or more in the hay field an shredding.

Since I went to synthetic in all my rigs - tractors, trucks, cars - I change once a year. I'm usually well below the recommended hourly change out - so, I don't worry about it.

I just go by the manual on all of our tractors. My L5740 gives me a reminder which makes it easy to remember. I have done it a few hours over or under, I think the most was 14 hours. My tractors don't get the heavy use yours do though.

my book says oil change every 150hrs.im using case oil as my local dealer dont sell kubota oil.we use this tractor pretty much year round.

I change the oil on my L2550DT every 100 hours. It is now just over the 5000 hour mark and I have never had an internal engine issue. Water pump, t-stat, etc but never anything that wasn't bolted to the outside.
