Oil dip stick

I bought a F14 Yanmar and I can't find the oil dipstick anywhere. Where should this thing be located? I really have a need to check the oil. Also what oil should I use when I change it (oil) and how much?

if you didn't get it from a dealer.. you probably need to hit the yanmar sub.. make friends with a dealer and buy a manual for that thing.

no doubt a c-rated oil in the 15w40 would be a good palce to start on oil... modified for your temp range. didn't see any data in your user profile.. so can't guess.. etc.

my older yanmar used a shiny yellow cap on the side of the engine as a dipstick.. look somewhere around the oil pan on both sides..
